Why Support Us?
Your donation will create real lasting changes in the lives of parents and children in communities throughout Massachusetts. You’re supporting programs, services and projects across the board. For almost 40 years, PHP has been breaking the cycle of child abuse. With your generous support, we strive to nurture children and build stronger families.
Parents Helping Parents (PHP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 1979. Unlike most peer support group models, PHP’s support groups are ongoing, free, confidential and anonymous. Its function is to serve in the best interest of parents and children living in the community and those that are incarcerated within Massachusetts. PHP proudly boast a 24/7 Parental Stress Line, 200 active members, 100 volunteers, 20 Groups and 17 prisons and shelters. Parents Helping Parents relies on funding from MA state contracts, individual donations from the surrounding communities throughout NE, and funding provided by foundation grants.
